From Engineering Precision to Global Fresh Produce Trade

- Nilam Gautam Pol

I began my career in 2009 with a Civil Engineering diploma and a monthly salary of just ₹6,000. Despite financial limitations, the drive to keep learning never faded. I completed independent training in Construction Business Management, joined the Public Works Department (PWD) as an engineer in 2015, and even successfully completed a 25-acre farmhouse plotting project in the Wai area. But the inner pull toward entrepreneurship never left.

A simple ₹99 online session with Udyami Maharashtra changed everything. Under the mentorship of Dr. Omkaar Hari Maali, I learned that international trade is not just about opportunity it’s about risk, responsibility, and reality. In December 2025, through RayNovaa Global Trade Private Limited, I completed my first apple import container and banana export stepping confidently into the global marketplace.
