My entrepreneurial journey is not just about building a business it is a transformation shaped by the combined result of thought, discipline, and direct experience. Born in 1998, I began seriously thinking about my career during the lockdown period while still in college. Even without concrete knowledge of export-import at that time, the first decision I made was “be ready to learn” and that decision became the foundation of everything that followed.
Enrolling in an EXIM course during college gave me structured knowledge of global trade, international regulations, documentation, logistics, and market opportunities. After connecting with Udyami Maharashtra and Dr. Omkaar Hari Maali, my thinking shifted fundamentally from “fast success” to “stable and long-term growth.” After an internship providing hands-on experience, I launched Guru Datta Impex Pvt. Ltd. focused on import-export of perishable goods. Starting with limited resources, quality and trust were prioritised above all else. A debit note from a London buyer on my first mango export fundamentally changed my quality management strategy pre-shipment inspection, right source selection, and quality verification became the core of the business. Today, the business reaches 8–10 countries globally with an annual turnover of approximately ₹15–20 crore.
