Born in Karnataka, raised across various states of India, and shaped by a decade as an IT consultant in America my worldview was built on constant change and global exposure. Working across China, Germany, Mexico, Singapore, and Turkey gave me something beyond project experience: I understood how different countries think, consume, and trade. When I noticed that cold climates across Europe were limiting the availability of fresh vegetables, the opportunity became clear dehydrated agricultural products were needed globally.
In collaboration with farmers in Kalaburagi, Karnataka, I set up a dehydration processing factory connecting local farmers directly to global markets. Through Ashtam Trading, dehydrated products now reach Europe and America, while fresh produce is exported to the Middle East. Connecting with Udyami Maharashtra and Dr. Omkaar Hari Maali’s mentorship shifted my business from experience-driven to process-driven with country-specific compliance, documentation discipline, and risk-aware decision making becoming the backbone of every order.
