Building Trusted Agricultural Supply Chains Across Borders

- Shankar Bapurao Shinde

Growing up in a farming-dominant environment in Marathwada, the relationship between farmers, producers, and markets was something I witnessed closely from childhood. The importance of value chains in agriculture, the discipline of quality, and the need for trust these were embedded in my thinking early. That is what shaped the desire to take Indian agricultural produce to global markets and Shree Tuti Exports was officially launched in 2024 with transparency, consistency, and ethical business practice at its core.

Starting as a merchant exporter, I studied international quality standards, export documentation, buyer expectations, and logistics management in depth. Nothing came easily building trust with new international buyers, understanding country-specific compliance, managing cold chains, and staying steady through volatile market cycles were all real challenges. An early transaction failed due to mismatched product specifications and from that experience, the critical importance of clear communication, written confirmation, and detailed specifications was permanently embedded in my working method. After connecting with Udyami Maharashtra and Dr. Omkaar Hari Maali, receiving repeat orders from international buyers became the decisive turning point and today, fresh agri products are exported to UK, UAE, and Asian markets with an annual turnover of ₹2.5 crore.
